Departing Rainbow Beach, your adventure begins with a 13 kilometre drive along the beach to the picturesque Double Island Point. Enjoy the stunning views of the coloured sand cliffs and Fraser Island from the point - a truly beautiful sight. Then the real fun begins - all geared up and briefed on safety and technique, you'll hit the water for some exploring. Spread over 1.5 to 2 hours, you'll explore the vibrant waters making friends with some of the locals. These waters are home to around 400 dolphins, so your chances of seeing some of the playful creatures is very high.
Other marine life that is often encountered includes large schools of fish, sea turtles, whales (during migration season) and sea birds to name a few.
